Video Market decided to provide an easy access to the anime for eagerly awaiting fans.
“Puella Magi Madoka Magica” became explosively popular as soon as it went on air, and still continues to spark heated debate.
The animated series was directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and written by Nitroplus Co.’s Gen Urobuchi, with Ume Aoki serving as character designer. It was produced by anime studio Shaft.
The anime caused an uproar in many communities for its adorable-looking characters, who wield magical powers, sharply contrasted with relentless story developments, in addition to the multi-layered storyline. It is considered one of the anime titles that represents 2011.
A market leader, Video Market has made concerted efforts to offer a wide range of video titles for mobile devices from an early stage, while other video streaming websites have expanded their businesses from smaller operations intended for personal computers.
Currently, the company provides about 20,000 titles of films, TV dramas and anime offered either for free or for a fee.
